Our pre-vocational training participants baked egg tarts and prepared yogurt, raising an impressive 500 dollars! Their hard work shows what dedication and teamwork can achieve.

As part of the Community Engagement Fellowship, we kicked off our year with some hands-on work at Ward Acres Conservatory—removing invasive species and helping restore the meadows.
Grateful for everyone who showed up and got a little muddy with us. This is just the beginning! More volunteering and more learning to come!

We are proud to share that Ethan Deng, co-founder of the IntraSpectrum Club, has published his article “The Ethics of Autism Treatment” in Critical Debates in Humanities, Science, and Global Justice.
In this thought-provoking piece, Ethan explores the ethical complexities of autism interventions. He challenges traditional behavior-centric models and advocates for a more respectful, person-centered approach—one that prioritizes environmental modification over normalization and values the unique needs of autistic individuals.
This publication reflects the core mission of IntraSpectrum: to foster understanding, celebrate neurodiversity, and promote a more inclusive and compassionate society.

The IntraSpectrum Club visited the Gillen Brewer School, a private special education institution recognized for its inclusive approach to learning. During the visit, club members toured the school, led a Rubik’s Cube teaching session with students, and interviewed Rebecca Skinner, the Head of School.

This past spring, co-leaders of the RCDS Chapter ofthe IntraSpectrum Club Lincoln Feng '26 and Qian Wei26 led a presentation for students in Grades 5 and 6advocating for autism awareness.

In their presentation, thev defined autismhow it affects communication with others, and howstudents can be supportive of individuals with autismFollowing the presentation, Lincoln and Qian held anaudience Q&A session.
The multi-chapter IntraSpectrum Club was co-foundedin 2020 by Lincoln Feng '26 and Hackley student EthanYihan Deng. As a non-profit organization,IntraSpectrum has made a difference in supportingpeople with autism through several initiatives includingpeer mentoring,various awareness initiatives, andAbleBloom,a community event celebrating the talentsof individuals with developmental disabilities.
